TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR OWN HEALTH & WELL BEING
YIN & RESTORATIVE YOGA BASED ON MERIDIAN PRINCIPLES
Healing is a holistic, transformative process; it is personal, innate, naturally occurring, multidimensional & involves repair & recovery of mind body and spirit. Self- Healing is a gift we are all born with and it occurs each moment that we live.
Since you know your body the best, you yourself can be your best healer. True healing comes from the self.
In Self Healing Yoga retreat, we will be creating a restful relaxed state in our body and mind, through various Meditation & Meridian Yoga techniques. We will become aware of the dynamic healing occurring within us each moment.
The retreat is designed to delve deeper into the world of Meridians which are energetic channels & pathways in the body through which our life force (Prana, Chi) flows.
Tension in the body means obstruction of Qi or the life force, this obstruction if not attended to goes on to manifest as diseases. By becoming aware of our imbalances in the body in a non attached way & learning exercises to stimulate meridians points, we have the ability to release blocked prana or chi. Prana helps in healing, by reaching to the farthest tips of our body part.
Yoga & Meditation helps Prana circulate to all corners of our body. Where awareness flows, prana follows and where prana flows, true healing occurs.
With the Meridian Yoga exercises learned in this retreat a greater sense of well being & health will be given space within you to develop naturally. Using such techniques in daily life we can release tension in the body & mind on a regular basis and support ourselves to maintain a state of equilibrium and balance.
Yoga is for everyone.
This retreat is ideal for participation of all levels even, if you have never done yoga before. The exercises are very gentle and adapted to every body type with the help of props and safety guidelines.
What is offered in this course:
• Meridian Yoga & Meditation techniques to develop greater sensitivity to body signals and sensations
• Theory on the esoteric principles of Energy, body, consciousness & Meridian lines.

Yoga & Singing Bowl Teacher
Manohar comes from a family with a long yoga tradition and he started practicing yoga at a young age. His father Purna, who is a medical professional, has always been passionate about daily yoga and meditation practice and Manohar grew up immersed in his father's dedication to natural health and yoga, listening to the stories of his dream of one day opening a yoga centre.
In his early twenties Manohar set off in the search for his path in life. He completed his travel and tourism degree and travelled Europe before he felt an inner calling and he returned to where he began – to yoga.
Manohar has completed his pre-teacher training in 2006 following which he gained experience in teaching yoga to Nepali children and youth. Later the same year Manohar started working as a manager for a yoga centre for two years. He completed his yogic studies certificate in 2008 at the Bihar School of Yoga, Munger, India and gained a wealth of knowledge and deep understanding of yoga, which today makes him a very knowledgeable, attentive and caring yoga teacher. Manohar is a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance as E-RYT 200 and RYT 500.
In 2008 Manohar started up Nepal Yoga Trek www.nepalyogatrek.com
, an innovative approach to trekking in the Himalayas combined with yoga, which has become increasingly popular.
